The processor has a signal processing circuit that is provided with a digital signal processor. The digital processor generates a coarse video signal that is indirectly displayable on a video screen from image signals generated by a charge coupled device sensor .An auxiliary circuit has a correction circuit that generates another coarse video signal that is directly displayable on the video screen included for the following: (a) video endoscope (b) a camera for an endoscope.
The Olympus UHI-2 is used to inflate cavities in the body to provide surgeons with more space to work during surgery. Most inflators use carbon dioxide to inflate cavities because the gas is not flammable, is non-colored, and is soluble in the body, which also greatly enhances the safety of the procedure. Inflators can be used for radiological imaging and endoscopic procedures.

The Olympus UHI-2 is a High-Flow insufflator with a built-in smoke evacuation system. It provides optimum abdominal conditions which allow for a more focused surgery. The UHI-2 has a large full panel display for quick status checks, a 3-step flow rate setting (Hi, Med, and Low) for fast setup, and an automatic overpressure release valve.
The Olympus UHI-2 is an endoscopic insufflator. Olympus insufflators are used to inflate a cavity within the body to give more workroom for the surgeons. Most insufflators use CO2 to inflate the cavity because it is non-flammable, colorless, and dissolves into the body. Insufflators can be used in radiological imaging as well as endoscopic procedures.
