The four plug-in module slots allow the drive configuration to be adapted for different encoder, communication and digital I/O requirements. Compatible module families include POWERLINK, CAN, EnDat, resolver, HIPERFACE, incremental encoder and configurable I/O modules. The installed plug-in modules must be checked separately because the base drive model does not identify the complete interface configuration.
A replacement should not be selected from the ACOPOS family name or current rating alone. Confirm the complete model 8V1045.00-2, hardware revision, installed plug-in modules, motor type, encoder interface, communication network and Automation Studio project before ordering.
