Core Working Principle: "Jeting" + "Suction"
"Jeting" - Loosening mud and sand with high-pressure water jets:
The vessel is equipped with a high-powered high-pressure water pump.
The pump draws clean water from the operating area, pressurizes it, and delivers it underwater through a high-pressure water pipe.
A specially designed nozzle/nozzle is installed at the end of the high-pressure water pipe, which directs the high-pressure water onto
the target sand layer.
Function: The high-pressure water jet has a powerful impact force that can:
Disperse loose sand particles.
Cut and liquefy compacted mud and sand layers, making them soft and fluid.
Creating a sand-water mixture (slurry): Thoroughly mixing sand and water reduces the slurry's viscosity, making it easier to pump.
"Suction" - Suctioning the slurry with a centrifugal pump:
A sand suction head/sand suction pipe inlet is located near the high-pressure nozzle (usually directly above or to the side and rear).
The vessel is equipped with a centrifugal sand pump (or slurry pump).
When operating, the sand pump generates a powerful vacuum suction force. The sand-water mixture (slurry) dispersed and liquefied
by the high-pressure water jet is forcefully drawn into the sand suction pipe through the suction head under the negative pressure
generated by the sand pump.The sucked-in slurry is then transported via pipelines to its destination (e.g.,a transport vessel, a shoreside
storage yard, a self-contained simple cabin/floating tank, or directly used for blow-filling).
Workflow:
1. Position the vessel at the target area.
2. Start the water pump to establish a high-pressure water flow.
3. Lower the jet pipe and sand suction pipe, and place the suction head on the sand surface or into the sand layer.
4. High-pressure water is ejected at high speed through the nozzle, creating a negative pressure in the suction chamber.
5. The sediment-water mixture is drawn into the sand suction pipe due to the pressure differential, then mixed with the jet water in the
suction chamber.
6. The mixed slurry is pumped through the sand discharge pipe to the designated location.
7. Sand extraction is completed step by step by moving the vessel or adjusting the suction head position.
