Certified for a Safe Working Load (S.W.L.) of 30 tons (300 kN) at the gantry point and designed to withstand the rigors of Sea State 4, this A-frame guarantees performance when it matters most. Its unique vertical-plane operation eliminates the pendulum effect common with rotating cranes, ensuring precise control during delicate operations such as ROV launch/recovery, deep-sea equipment handling, and heavy module placement. This results in safer, more efficient operations with minimal load sway.
Optimized Design for Maximum Efficiency
With a generous 8-meter span between columns and a significant 6.5-meter lift height, the A-frame provides ample clearance for handling bulky subsea equipment. Its engineered geometry achieves a 4.5-meter offboard reach at a -30° angle, enabling extensive over-side operations without sacrificing valuable deck space. Integrated anti-sway winches (≥3-ton capacity) and hydraulic luffing cylinders work in concert to enhance control and safety during lifting tasks.
Seamless Integration and Customization
The A-frame is designed for seamless compatibility with auxiliary deck machinery. The system maintains its full 30-ton S.W.L. even when winches are positioned 10 meters away, and it features an 18-ton winch tension rating to work in unison with geological winches, CTD systems, and other critical equipment. OUCO offers comprehensive customization, including major class certifications (ABS, BV, CCS), polar-grade packages for operations down to -40°C, and hazard-environment adaptations (ATEX/API2).
