Introduction:
Needle-shaped solid. Melting point 228℃ (slow heating), 240℃ (rapid heating). Generally contains one crystal water, loses crystal water at 110℃. Slightly soluble in water, and decomposes on long-term storage. Soluble in ethanol.
Uses:
3,5-Diaminobenzoic acid is an important monomer of the new material polyimide film. Polyimide film is a new type of high-temperature resistant polymer material with excellent comprehensive performance. It is widely used in high-temperature resistant coatings, electromagnetic wires, semiconductor protective layers, flexible printed circuit boards, solar panels and other fields. In addition, 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid is also an important dye and pharmaceutical intermediate, from which a series of yellow reactive dyes can be derived. In the pharmaceutical field, 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid is mainly used to synthesize diatrizoate, a contrast agent used for the diagnosis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and urinary system diseases; it can also be used to synthesize sulfonamide drugs with a broad antibacterial spectrum, low cost and high efficiency.
