Introduction:
Sodium dodecyl sulfate is a widely used anionic surfactant. It is a white or slightly yellow powder with the properties of detergency, wetting, foaming, emulsification, dispersion, coagulation, degreasing and deinking. It can be directly used in the preparation of domestic or industrial detergents and has become the main product of synthetic detergent actives.
Uses:
Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is a common anionic surfactant, which is widely used in washing, chemical industry and other fields due to its stable properties, wide sources of raw materials and low production cost. In addition, SDS can be adsorbed in the double electric layer on the surface of some easily floatable oxidized minerals through electrostatic force, and has good selectivity and foaming properties. In recent years, sodium dodecyl sulfate has been widely used as a flotation collector in the flotation of oxidized minerals such as barite, potassium salt, fluorite and apatite.
