GFS tanks are used in medium-temperature digesters, high-temperature digesters, pasteurized digesters, enhanced enzymatic hydrolysis (EEH) digesters, and various other processes and applications.
Specially grown crops, such as corn and crop residues from sucrose and palm oil production, as well as waste from animal, municipal, commercial, and other industrial processes, are used as typical raw materials for AD plants. Some of them were either burned or sent to landfill before AD development.
More and more waste streams are treated together with the co-digestion of municipal sludge effluent and farm waste (such as animal manure or mud) to produce "green" renewable energy.
