Glass fused to steel liquid storage tanks are made of individual sections including Glass-Fused-to-Steel, roof, tank ancillaries. All the individual sections are manufactured and finished in the factory according to strict structural specifications, with quality bends, welds and surface processing. The bolt holes and openings will be cut by CNC laser cutting machine automatically. Spray the glass coating on both sides of steel panels automatically. Coating thickness is controlled within 230 microns to 450 microns. After enameling and drying, then firing steel panels in the oven at the temperatures ranging from 850℃ -940℃, which facilitates the interfacial fusion reactions that combine the two materials. That is what we call Glass-Fused-to-Steel. Unlike field welded tanks, field welded tanks must be installed on-site, often resulting in the imperfect and inconsistent finished coating, corrosion and other damage.

How is the production process of Glass-Fused-to-Steel?

Firstly preparing well all of the Ti-rich steel as drawing , and then cutting holes and corners as per drawing on our laser cutting machine ( CNC cutting machine ) , after all of the steel sheet be cut ,which need to get rid of the burs on the surface ,and then rolling job begins after all of the steel sheet is qualified , then we will spray the steel sheet and burn it in the oven with 800-950 degree last few minutes until the enamel is dry on the surface . When all of the finish of the job which not means the job is done, do some inspection on the surface the qualified one will send to the warehouse and pack. We pack it according to international export standard, EPE will be used on each steel sheet tied a few sheets together and put them into a wooden frame to avoid scratches during shipment.
