Porcessless CTP plates consist of an aluminum base coated with a photosensitive material. The exposed areas become receptive to ink, while the unexposed areas remain hydrophilic, repelling ink.
During printing, the plate is mounted onto the press, and ink is applied directly onto the plate. The ink adheres to the exposed areas, while the non-image areas remain free of ink. This process eliminates the need for chemical processing, making Porcessless CTP plates a sustainable option.
