This property allows the non-image areas to remain hydrophilic and not attract ink.
To create a print using a PS Plate, the plate is first exposed to UV light, which initiates the chemical reaction and forms the image areas. The unexposed portions of the photosensitive layer are then removed through processing, leaving only the image areas on the plate. The plate is then washed and dried before it can be used for printing.
One of the main advantages of the PS Plate is its versatility. It can be used with both water-based and oil-based inks, making it suitable for printing on various materials such as paper, cardboard, and plastics. Additionally, the PS Plate allows for the production of highly detailed and accurate prints, making it a reliable and efficient method for achieving high-quality print results.
