Electrical Characteristics:

The Mini-Fit Junior 4.2 mm pitch crimp socket and plug housing form part of the Mini-Fit Junior power connector interconnection system. The Mini-Fit Junior power connector can handle up to 9A (per circuit), making it particularly suitable for high current applications. These Mini-Fit Junior crimp housings have fully isolated terminals to prevent breakage, arcing and damage due to improper handling. The housing contains polarization and keying functions to prevent misalignment and mismatch. The positive locking mechanism includes an easy-to-operate thumb latch to ensure a secure connection with the mating connector. This positive locking mechanism prevents accidental pulling out due to excessive shock or vibration. The click sound indicates that the connector is fully mated. These Mini-Fit Junior 4.2 mm plug and socket housings provide UL94V-0 or UL94V-2 housing materials, various contact configurations, and accept standard Mini-Fit and Mini-Fit Plus crimp terminals
