Bimetal bushing lead-plated material made of leaded bronze with a steel back, suitable for oil-lubricated applications. This material has a high load-bearing capacity and good fatigue properties. It is widely used in automotive applications such as compressors, steering gears, power steering, pedal bushings, kingpin bushings, tailgate trunnions, mechanical handling and lifting equipment, hydraulic motors and pumps, agricultural machinery, etc.
Bimetal Bushings Structure
1.Bi-metal Sintered bronze layer: Good wear resistance and excellent load carrying capacity.
2.Steel backing:Setting the foundation of the bushings,the steel backing provides exceptional stability, load carrying and heat dissipation characteristics.
This bimetallic bushing material is recommended for use in medium speed and medium load conditions with oil or grease lubrication. It is widely used for engine tie rod ends, Kingpin bushings, undercarriage rollers, construction machinery hydraulic cylinder cylinders and agricultural machinery ball joint bearings. Because this material contains lead, certain parts may not be used in accordance with specific laws or regulations.

Bimetal bearing is the bearing made of bimetal rolled shaft sleeve and bimetal gasket by friction welding, which can bear both radial load and axial load.
