Installation Steps (General Reference):
Remove old hood: Open the hood—remove hinge mounting bolts with wrench
Disconnect washer hose: Unplug windshield washer hose connection
Remove old hood: Carefully remove the old hood—protect surrounding paint
Clean mounting area: Clean hinge mounting surfaces and surrounding area
Install new hood: Position the new hood—align with hinge mounting holes
Pre-install hinge bolts: Install and pre-tighten hinge mounting bolts
Adjust position: Adjust hood position to ensure even gaps with fenders
Tighten hinge bolts: Torque hinge bolts to specification
Reconnect washer hose: Reconnect windshield washer hose
Function test: Test opening/closing—confirm smooth operation and secure latch
