    Vinyl Resin-Acid Resistance Tiles Flooring System

    Apply vinyl anticorrosive coatings and acid resistance tiles to the flooring system. Before the tiles laid, coating fiber glass 1-2 layers.
    The requirements to vinyl resin are the similar to FRP system.

    Scope of application:

    Floor requires strict anti-corrosion in Chemical plants, electroplating factory, battery plant and that of acid-alkali neutralization pool in other factories.

    Construction process:

    1. Waterproof or damp proof treatment: the first floor on the ground shall be treated for waterproof or damp proof.

    Notethe substrate surface must be prepared to remove cement slurries, cement skin, loose or brittle particles, defects and parting compounds. Fresh concrete must be cur
    --ing more than 28 days. The residual moisture of the concrete surface must be less than 8%.

    2. Surface treatment: by abrasive blasting or grinding or other suitable mechanical methods to get a certain surface roughness and then vacuum cleaning.

    3. Primer coating: coating strong permeable primer to the treated substrate in order to ensure the surface adhesion.

    4. Lamination layerPlace the fiber glass smoothly, then apply the vinyl coatings which has been well mixed on the fiber glass for 1-2 layers, overlap joint of the fiber glass must be at least 50 mm, and the place of overlap joint on different layers must be staggered at least 50 mm. After each layer’s coating, compaction and de-foaming. After 24 hours curing, continue the next coating process. During the process, grinding to eliminate skin needles and then clean clearly.

    5. Intermediate coat: Apply the mixed vinyl intermediate coating 1-2 layers by trowel. After curing, grind to eliminate skin needles and then clean clearly.

    6. Tile laying: by the method of extruding the vinyl bedding mortar. Positioning before construction and pay attention to the slope design. Bedding mortar should be full filled, and acid-proof brick shall not slip. Ensure brick seam width meets requirements (typically 3±1mm) with special clamps.
    Before the tiles laying, take suitable measurement to ensure waxing only on the top surface of each tile.

    7. Grouting: After the bedding is cured, fill the tiles joint with proper mixed vinyl grouting material and smooth with small trowel.

    8. Curing and cleaning tile surfaceProvide wet paint” signs to protect newly coated finishes for 1-2days. Then clean tile surface with hot water.

    9. Joint repair: When found joint defects after cleaning and drying, mix the vinyl grouting mortar to repair the joint.
